Who is Victor Koretzky?

Victor Koretzky is a handlebar ace. Younger brother of Clement Koretzky, a road cyclist, he turned to off-road cycling early on.

The young lodévois trains on the banks of Lake Salagou, where his favorite spots are located. He learns to master jumps and wheeling and hones his riding skills in the heart of a generous nature.

In cadet as well as junior categories, Victor Koretzky has a string of successes. At the age of 17, he earned the crown of world champion in the team relay and junior cross-country champion.

The places of honor rained down on him as his performances continued.

Professional cycling career

In 2014, the Hérault native truly entered the big league by turning professional. Wearing the colors of the BH-SR Suntour-KMC team, he notably finished 3rd overall in the mountain bike hopeful world cup.

The following season, he was again crowned world champion in the mixed mountain bike relay. The youngster competes with the best mountain bikers on the planet, he makes his place with his pedal strokes and intrigues.

In 2016, Victor Koretzky became European and French U23 XC champion and finished 4th overall at the World Cup in the elite category. He also competes in the 2016 Rio Olympics!"

In 2019, he emerges victorious from the French championships and will wear for a year the famous tricolor jersey, symbol of his success.

Today, the mountain bike champion races for the KMC Orbea Team alongside Thomas Litscher, Malene Degnand Oliver Aviles.

  • 4th overall elite (2016);
  • 10th overall elite (2019);
  • Victory in the XC world cup round in Albstadt (2020).

European Championships:

  • European champion in the team relay (2011);
  • European U23 cross country champion (2016);
  • 2nd in the team relay (2016).

French Cross Country Championships:

  • Junior French champion (2011);
  • French hopeful champion (2016);
  • French champion (2019).

Victor Koretzky also finished 10th in the XC event at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
