Andrea Tafi, born in 1966 in Tuscany, is an Italian cyclist. Professional from 1989 to 2005, during his career he specialized in one-day races. In his first year, he won a stage in the Tour de Murcia and the Tour de Luxembourg, but really revealed himself when he won in 1991 at the Tour du Lazio, an important classic on the Italian and international calendar. He is the only Italian to count the two biggest cobbled races, Paris-Roubaix (victory in 1999) and the Tour of Flanders (in 2002) to his list. He also won another classic "Monument" with the Tour of Lombardy 1996, as well as the Italian road championship in 1998 and Paris-Tours in 2000. Endearing character, he joined the Legends Ekoï team in 2021
